The Palais des Papes, the Episcopal complex and the Pont Saint Bénezet (Avignon Bridge) are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Organising a seminar in Provence in Avignon is an opportunity to discover a city of art, culture and theatre, which hosts the Avignon Festival in July, the world’s largest theatre and live performance event, in terms of the number of productions and spectators. The chef from La Table Haute leads the meal with the “apprentices”, who will enjoy these playful moments and taste the meal around the large sycamore table. Cooking classes can be combined with a wine tasting session, so that 12 people can join together for the meal. The tasting can be devoted to a particular appellation or estate, with the possibility of the winemaker being present. An elegant Napoleon III-style dining room, dating from the time when one of the members of the Pamard family, who once owned La Mirande, was mayor of the town, can accommodate up to 16 people.  The old 19th-century kitchen lends itself to memorable evenings when meals are prepared for up to 12 guests sharing the large table (see La Table Haute). For special events, the “Rez-de chaussé, côté palais” (ground floor, palace side) can be fully privatised to accommodate a larger number of guests.
