Events, exhibitions, Christmas market at La Mirande in Avignon Provence

ACCORD TANNIQUE combines wine tasting and live music, with pianist Paul Lay interpreting each wine in musical notes.

A sensory experience combining pleasure, sharing and emotion, complemented by dishes from Thomas Longuesserre.

We are delighted to unveil the programme for the twelfth edition of our traditional Christmas market, taking place from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 December.

Over the course of the weekend, adults and children alike will be free to rediscover a legendary address, a living historical monument and the setting for the end-of-year festivities.

Christmas Market programme

La Mirande, in collaboration with Château La Nerthe, invites you to share a moment of conviviality featuring the authentic flavours of our region. Chef Thomas Longuesserre will be offering you an exceptional culinary experience at the Table Haute, combining the skills of food artisans and vineyard craftsmen.

The programme includes: a 5-course dinner, carefully harmonised with the estate's emblematic vintages and hosted by its sommelier.

Our starred chef Florent Pietravalle received the Revelation of the Year Award at Omnivore Paris 2021, a prize for the future and youth awarded with Transgourmet.

He was also awarded the "Grand de Demain" nomination at the Gault&Millau Tour 2021.

His banners, costumes, painted furniture and stylized trees contribute to the unusual atmosphere and are perfectly suited to the old walls of the cardinal's residence, which was once decorated with tapestries.
